logo Energy LiteracyThe aim of this project is to enhance public authorities’ capacity to meet the challenges faced upon renovating the public building stock, and thus enable behavioural change and prepare key players of the public sector to become true factors of change for reaching the EU environmental, sustainability, climate change and energy efficiency targets.

PROJECT ACTIVITIES:

CaPABle project entails a holistic and bottom-up approach that introduces innovative features and components in all its implementation phases. Overall, the project encompasses a logic capacity building model to be applied by integrating the following components:

EXPECTED PROJECT RESULTS:

  • A growing number of public authorities staff, officials, officers, managers from national, local and regional level coming from the sustainability-relevant sectors will be upskilled in a transnational spectrum and their competences upon facing public building stock renovation challenges will be enhanced.
  • A growing number of key stakeholders from the public, educational and industry sector will join demonstration events of the CaPABle capacity building program.
  • A growing number of training providers, adult education and vocational training providers, as well as public authorities and key stakeholders will integrate project outputs and thus develop their capacity in responding to training needs directly linked with urgent environmental and climate goals.
  • Awareness and competence-raising materials will be disseminated more widely by providing - through digital media - recommendations on the renovation of public buildings to central and local authorities, as well as organizing 4 dedicated events.
