This year's General Meeting of Members of the Association of Municipalities of the Polish Network "Energie Cités", held on June 13 this year in Jadwisin, was attended by representatives of municipalities affiliated to our network and guest representatives of municipalities interested in the activities of our Association. The General Meeting was accompanied by a two-day seminar entitled "Cities and Municipalities on the Road to Climate Neutrality" on issues related to accelerating the transformation process at the local level.

Mr. Przemysław Major, a representative from Cieszyn, was elected Chairman of the General Assembly, overseeing the meeting and voting on resolutions. During the General Assembly, Anna Jaskuła, office director, presented a report on the Association's activities in 2023, while Robert Strzeboński, accountant, presented a detailed financial report for last year, based on the balance sheet and income statement.

This year's General Meeting of Members was an election meeting, during which new authorities of the Association for the term 2024 - 2029 were elected. We warmly congratulate the new members of the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee! The Board of Directors included representatives from Bielsko-Biała, Bydgoszcz, Cieszyn, Ełk, Niepołomice, Siemiatycze and Warsaw.

The General Meeting was exceptionally festive, as this year the Association is celebrating its 30th anniversary. To mark the occasion, each participant received a commemorative bag and an ecological mug with the motif of the Association's new logo, and tasted a delicious anniversary cake.
