Over two days, the purpose of the meeting was to discuss the Local Implementation Plans put together by each partner to aid the implementation of sustainable energy and energy efficiency measures on a regional level across Europe. On the first day, after a welcome from Alessandro Attolico, the Project Manager for the lead partner, the Province of Potenza, aspects of the Final Case Study Report were presented by representatives from Slagelse, Denmark, Tulln, Austria and Potenza, Italy. This was followed by each partner presenting their Local Implementation Plan, with a discussion about the implementation plans and the final conference completing the Thematic group Meeting.

The Steering Group Meeting was held on the second day and began with representatives from Durham presenting the project’s Model Implementation Plan for enacting sustainable and energy efficiency policies across Europe. This was followed by presentations given by Grants Europe Consulting Ltd and representatives from Sheffield, UK, CNR-IMAA and Potenza, Italy and Avrig, Romania, on various aspects of the project and the progress made.
