Representatives of 5 Polish municipalities (Słupsk, Sztum, Pilzno, Grybów, Żyraków) met together to discuss about project 50000&1 SEAPs future implementation. The meeting allowed to present project’s expectations especially in terms of sustainable energy action plans integrated with energy management system (according to ISO 50001). Rules, timeframes, expected results and communication aspects were presented by organizers (PNEC). It was also a possibility to have some guidance from Dzierżoniów - the first municipality in Poland which is implementing SEAP and ISO 50001.

Training was followed by a seminar “Low carbon emission plans and SEAPs as a chance for Polish municipalities in period 2014-2020”. Over 800 local energy plans will be prepared in Poland until the end of 2015. Seems that local energy planning finally gets more structured. The importance of sustainable energy development was emphasized from local, national and European point of view.
